RevCom: PJS to revise DOE-STD-1149-20XX, Safety and Health Program for DOE Construction Projects

This Standard provides a framework for a construction safety program for use on DOE construction projects that will comply with the requirements of title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, part 851, Worker Safety and Health Program (10 CFR 851). The proposed revisions will incorporate feedback on construction safety that EHSS-11 has received from the DOE Enterprise. These changes are likely to focus on updating programmatic details (e.g., definitions, roles, and responsibilities, flow-down of requirements, oversight) as well as technical content (e.g. silica exposure control, activity hazard analysis, prevention through design). Additional changes will be proposed by the writing team based on experience with the current version of the standard and feedback from the DOE complex.
