This Technical Standard provides the approved DOE firearms qualification courses of fire to meet the requirements in 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1046, Medical, Physical Readiness, Training, and Access Authorization Standard for Protective Force Personnel. This Technical Standard is not intended to require the use of any strategy, tactic, or technology. Examples that have been proven to be effective are presented to provide users options.
