Specifically, the DOE sites and contractors are using National Fire Protection Association (NFP A) 110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems; NFP A 111, Standard on Stored Electrical Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems; and other applicable industry codes and standards as identified in DOE Order 420.1, Facility Safety (version B or C, as applicable). Moreover, DOE-STD-3003-2000 is not invoked as a requirement in any DOE directives; and its cancellation will not have any adverse effect on DOE facilities design, operations, or maintenance practices. If cancelled, the Standard will be archived and remain available on the TSP Website.
