DOE-STD-1196-2011, Derived Concentration Technical Standard
This standard establishes the numerical values of DCSs in a manner reflecting the current state of knowledge and practice in radiation protection. This standard supports the implementation of Department of Energy (DOE) Order 458.1, Radiation Protection of the Public and the Environment. Derived Concentration Standards (DCS) are radiological quantities used in the design and conduct of radiological environmental protection programs at DOE facilities and sites.
