DOE-STD-1183-2019, Nuclear Safety Specialist Functional Area Qualification Standard
The Nuclear Safety Specialist (NSS) Functional Area Qualification Standard (FAQS) establishes common performance competencies for all DOE NSS personnel who provide assistance, direction, guidance, oversight, or evaluation of contractor technical activities that could impact the safe operation of DOE’s defense nuclear facilities. This FAQS has been developed as a tool to assist DOE Program and Field Offices in the development and implementation of the TQP in their organization. Supersedes DOE-STD-1183-2016 dated 10-26-2016.
