DOE-HDBK-1046-2008, Temporary Emergency Exposure Limits for Chemicals: Methods and Practice
This order, and its Guides issued in 2007, reference Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) and Emergency Response Planning Guidelines (ERPGs) as the emergency exposure limits of choice. This document describes why TEELs are needed, their role in emergency planning in DOE, the history of their development, and the methods by which they are developed.
