PJS DOE-STD-1153-2002, Notice of Intent to Revise DOE-STD-1153-2002, A Graded Approach for Evaluating Radiation Doses to Aquatic and Terrestrial Biota

DOE-STD-1153, issued in 2002, is being revised to be in line with the AU Strategic Goal of fostering Department-wide excellence in performance by updating radiation protection assessments of biota through establishment of concise, cost-effective procedures in line with current best practices. Specifically, this revision will simplify dose assessment methodologies, incorporate new technical data, and provide DOE sites with the most comprehensive document on evaluating radiation doses to aquatic and terrestrial biota.
