PJS DOE-STD-1090-YR, Project Justification Statement for Proposed Revision to DOE-STD-1090-2011, Hoisting and Rigging

Proposed revisions to the standard are commensurate with 29 CFR, Part 1926, 1432 -Multiple-crane/derrick lifts-supplemental requirements. Hoisting and rigging is a high-risk activity justifiably deserving of progressive guidelines that serve both organizational mission goals, as well as continuing to ensure safety of DOE Federal employees and contractors within the workplace. The revision of this standard is not part of an Implementation Plan for Defense Board Recommendations.
